Flint Hills Resources to build Texas’ first ethanol terminal

In Texas, Flint Hills Resources plans to build the state’s first ethanol terminal at its existing fuel storage center in Buda. The project will see a rail spur, two storage tanks, a truck-loading rack, water storage and an operations building installed to support market demand for ethanol in central and southern Texas. Construction is already set to begin this month and should be online by the end of the year. The company did not disclose the project’s investment amount.
