India oil minister promises sugar industry to source funding for ethanol plants

January 25, 2016 |

In India, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas promised the sugar industry to work with the Finance Ministry to develop financing mechanisms to further ethanol production. In order to help support the ethanol supply chain towards achieving the new E10 blend, he also said ethanol storage facilities will be developed at public sector refineries.
