Digest Bioeconomy Index drops 1.01 percent to 47.95 as as advanced bio tumbles

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dropped 1.01 percent to 47.95 as as advanced bio tumbled. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 8.89 percent to $1.64, while Evogene (EVGN) shed 7.16 percent to $6,35. Among other equities, Biox (BX.TX) leapt 15.0 percent to $0.69. Overall, declines led advances by a 3 to 2 ratio for the day.
