Tamil Nadu mills seek to eliminate ethanol production limits

February 3, 2016 |

Existing distilleries have production capacity of 270 million liters and could easily supply the quota if allowed. What’s more, the association argues that by not being allowed to produce ethanol, sugarcane farmers are being negatively impacted.
