Digest Bioeconomy Index sheds 0.88 percent to 46.41 as large caps wilt

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, shed 0.88 percent to 46.41 as large caps wilted.  For the day, Green Plains (GPRE) fell 6.54 percent to $15.01, while Monsanto (MON) dumped 6.54 percent to $87.58. Among other equities, The Andersons (ANDE) declined 3.82 percent to $26.94. Overall, declines led advances by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
