Digest Bioeconomy Index drops 1.41 percent to 47.71 as an oil rally fizzles

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dropped 1.41 percent to 47.71 as ethanol equities slid as an oil rally fizzled. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) sank 16.67 percent to $1.55, while Green Plains (GPRE) lost 3.15 percent to $14.33.  Among other equities, Global Bioenergies (ALGBE.PA) fell 3.84 percent to $18.27. Overall, declines led advances by a 10 to 3 ratio for the day.
