Digest Bioeconomy Index jumps 2.37 percent to 52.37 as ethanol equities advance strongly

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, jumped 2.37 percent to 52.37 as ethanol equities advanced strongly. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) rallied 10.06 percent to $1.97, while BioAmber (BIOA) soared 20.10 percent to $4.60.  Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 10.95 percent to $2.33. Overall, advances led declines by a 2 to 1 ratio for the day.
