European ethanol market picking up with better prices and margins

April 12, 2016 |

In Europe, April has been good for the ethanol market so far with improved prices for T2 every session since the first of the month, which is in turn helping to support crush margins thanks to feedstock prices that fell just enough. On Monday evening, crush margins for both wheat and corn were the highest since March 18. Falling corn prices in both the US and Latin America are helping to weigh on European corn while bumper wheat crops in many markets are also helping to temper wheat prices.
