Chinese technology blamed for part of the failure of Vietnam’s ethanol industry

In Vietnam, the use of Chinese technology for cassava-based ethanol plants is part of the blame some are putting on the failure of the country’s facilities, with four of seven using 100% of technology while the others use some Chinese components even fi the main technology is American or Danish. At least two of the facilities only have hydrous ethanol production capacity, not having invested in dehydration, meaning they can not supply the E5 mandate that is wavering from lack of compliance and forcing ethanol plants to close.
