April 18, 2016 |

In Virginia, Green Biologics has partnered with Acme-Hardesty, a division of Jacob Stern & Sons, for the distribution of n-butanol and acetone to the U.S. market for high value applications in food ingredients, cleaning products, and biolubricants.

This partnership comes on the heels of the recent announcement of Green Biologics’s partnership with Nexeo, which  will be focusing on the CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers) HI&I (household, industrial & institutional cleaners), PCI (personal care intermediates), and energy chemicals industries.

Green Biologics is building its first commercial production facility for renewable n-butanol and acetone in Little Falls, Minnesota, intending to open the plant in 2016 with shipments starting by Q4.
