April 25, 2016 |

In the Bahamas, Bahamas Waste has sold 51% of its shares to locally-owned 700 Islands Energy for $180,433 in a strategic partner the loss-making company hopes will turn around the waste oil-to-biodiesel company. All of the assets have been transferred to the new Bahamas Sustainable Fuels who will produce the fuel at a lower cost than Bahamas Waste was able to do. The new partners have voiced big plans for expansion with the vision for a path forward to be made clear in the next three to six months.
