Digest Bioeconomy Index edges up 0.42 percent to 55.46 as ethanol equities rally

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, edged up 0.42 percent to 55.46 as ethanol equities rallied.

For the day, Abengoa (ABGB) plunged 26.09 percent to $1.02, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rebounded 4.51 percent to $5.10.  Among other equities, TerraVia (SZYM) rallied 4.42 percent to $2.36.

Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
