Pro-ethanol boat lobby standing up against the din

In Washington, some boating enthusiasts and engine manufacturers are breaking away from the anti-ethanol voice the marine industry has typically shown and are instead supporting the fuel. A briefing held for lawmakers by Fuels America sought to bring other voices to what has sometimes seemed like a one-sided debate with boating very much in the “No” camp despite the recognized need for higher octane. The association says that after decades of research, E10 has been shown to be the best fuel for marine applications.
