Thailand speeds up trials to implement B10 by 2018

May 17, 2016 |

In Thailand, the Ministry of Energy has been instructed to quickly begin tests of B10 in order to facilitate introduction of the blend commercially across the country in 2018. Such a blend would boost biodiesel consumption to 14 million liters per day. The policy is in line with the country’s 2015-2036 Alternative Energy Development Plan. Though the policy would be applied to the entire domestic fleet, the pilot project would be undertaken by the government and military.
