EU T2 ethanol prices high four-month highs

May 18, 2016 |

In the Netherlands, T2 ethanol prices have risen to four-month highs on the back of reduced production thanks to Abengoa’s ethanol plant in Rotterdam shutting down until it works through remaining feedstocks and Ensus in the UK remaining offline, though the latter is preparing to restart later in the summer. The Abengoa is currently being overseen by Dutch authorities as it was included in the company’s bankruptcy proceedings last week. Demand will continue to increase as the summer driving season approaches.
