Florida financier funds Spanish UCO biodiesel producer

In Florida, Trade Finance Solutions Inc. provided EUR4.0 million in supplier credit and factoring facilities to a Spain-based manufacturer of biodiesel fuel. The facilities will enhance the company’s cash flow by providing extended payment terms to vendors and access to working capital to support its growth strategy. This innovative company takes recycled vegetable oil and converts it to biodiesel. Supplier credit, also known as supply chain finance, allows companies to lengthen the payment terms of their commercial purchases while providing the option for vendors to get paid early. Factoring provides smoother cash flow to aid in their financial planning or managing growth, and the facility size can grow with increasing revenues.
