Midwest ethanol prices on the rise ahead of Memorial Day weekend

In the Midwest, with the Memorial Day holiday fast approaching, ethanol prices for fuel loaded on trucks in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In Minneapolis, prices rose three cents per gallon from Monday to Thursday, a typical move ahead of holiday weekends when fuel will need to be blended on the go to keep holiday travelers moving. In the US, Memorial Day typically is the start of the summer driving season, which should in turn help to boost ethanol demand over the coming months.
