In India, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation may team with Advait Bio Fuel to produce biodiesel that would supply the state agency with the fuel needed for its growing biofuel-powered bus fleet. Currently it sources more than 4 million liters per month from the company 800km away, adding to the cost, but they are looking to jointly build a facility within the state. Doing so could cut fuel costs by half a rupee per liter.
