Former CEO of Michigan Biodiesel indicted over tax fraud scheme

In Michigan, the former CEO of Michigan Biodiesel LLC was indicted with 14 counts tax fraud, bankruptcy fraud, false claims, false documents and other charges amounting as part of a scheme to defraud the federal government of $2 million in tax credits. The scheme dealt with trying to falsify the use of glycerin produced from the biodiesel production process as renewable fuel when in fact it was used to coal anti-freeze liquid solution in West Virginia.
