SDTC radically simplifies Canadian grant applications to benefit entrepreneurs

July 24, 2016 |

In Canada, Leah Lawrence, CEO of Sustainable Development Technology Canada said that the organization will be discontinuing regularly scheduled calls for applications in favor of a continuous intake model—applicants will now be able to submit their initial request for funding at any time via www.sdtc.ca. Additionally, SDTC has revamped the funding application process, introducing a shorter, more interactive process for prospective fundees which includes a presentation via video conference that provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch their innovative clean tech development and demonstration projects to SDTC’s team of experts.

Applicants will now be able to apply to SDTC for funding 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. While SDTC’s application process will continue to have multiple phases, it will now commence with a short introduction form, and, if approved, would lead to an invitation to present their technology development and demonstration project interactively via a video conference with SDTC experts.

To Apply

We invite interested and qualified parties to become part of SDTC’s portfolio of clean tech companies. Please visit www.sdtc.ca to see if you might qualify for SDTC funding or contact a Funding Advisor (613-234-6313) to initiate the funding process prior to the completion of an application.
