Reuters analysis shows 20% of US car fleet can safely use E15

In New York state, Reuters analysis shows 20% of the US car fleet could safely use E15, much higher than the 14% estimated by the American Automobile Association in June 2015, and that number will continue to rise as drivers buy new vehicles going into the end of the year. Despite growing capability, full fleet conversion could take more than a decade to achieve. While many US car manufacturers are feeling the push by policy, rather than consumer demand, to produce E15 compatible cars, companies like Nissan and Mercedes Benz are focusing more on hybrids.
