Clinton campaign denies Reuters report saying she supports LCFS over RFS

In Washington, Hillary Clinton’s campaign has denied a report from Reuters that she is looking to adapt the Renewable Fuel Standard to be more like California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard. She did meet with representatives to learn more about the policy, however. She instead wants to get the RFS “back on track” and promote more use of advanced biofuels. She originally voted against the RFS while in the Senate but that began supporting it during her first presidential campaign in 2008.
