Mato Graso biodiesel production up nearly 5% during H1 2016

In Brazil, biodiesel production in Mato Grosso grew 4.94% in the 1st half of this year over the same period of 2015. Against this result, the national biofuel supply fell 3.45%. The state’s production is about 22% of domestic production. From January to June this year, Mato Grosso secured 408,778,000 liters of biodiesel, compared to 389.52 million liters in the same period last year. Domestic production was 1.864 billion liters in the first six months of 2016. In 2015, through June, the industry produced 1.931 billion liters, as shown by production statistics released by the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
