Brazilian biodiesel auction sells 674 million liters

In Brazil, the ANP fuels agency held its 50th biodiesel auction last week where 674 million liters were sold at an average of 75.5 cents per liter, all of which held the social seal guaranteeing sourcing of feedstock from smallholder farmers. A total of 757.18 million liters were offered at auction by 31 producers. On the first day of the auction, 581.3 million liters were sold while the remainder was sold on the second day.
