August 31, 2016 |

In Oklahoma, Magellan Midstream Partners on Tuesday notified the state’s corporation commission that regulates fuel, gas and oil among other industries that it had distributed 450,000 gallons of E30 instead of E10 to retailers in Tulsa and around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Equipment failure at the Oklahoma City fuel distribution terminal was at fault for the high-level blends. The error was discovered on Monday. The company is still working to determine which fueling stations received the fuel. The Sam’s Club at 71st and South Mingo in Tulsa received the fuel on Saturday.
