Ohio counties battle to host SG Preston aviation biofuel plant

In Ohio, Van Wert County officials say they have been in discussions with SG Preston to potentially locate their planned 120 million gallon per year renewable diesel and aviation biofuel production facility in the county. Also up for hosting the site are South Port, Ohio; Logansport, Indiana; and unnamed site in Michigan and another in Ontario, Canada. On Monday the company announced a 10-year aviation biofuel supply deal for jetBlue Airlines out of JFK airport.
