October 3, 2016 |

In the UK, a 30-foot dead fin whale that washed up on the shore of a Devon beach will be rendered down in a local plant and used for oil to produce biodiesel. The whale had been tracked for about a month and was last seen of the coast of France before it washed up on shore last Thursday. The recipient of the oil and rendered fats for biodiesel production were not mentioned in the article.
