CropEnergies boosts H1 ethanol production but revenues are down

In Germany, CropEnergies reported that ethanol production during the first half of the year rose to 450,000 cubic meters from 420,000 during the same period last year thanks to bringing back online its Wilton, UK facility. Despite high ethanol production and better capacity utilization, revenues only reached EUR350 million during the first half of 2016/17 compared to EUR390 million the year before but the second quarter of the reporting period rose to EUR182 million from EUR168 million.
