Argentina eyes more biodiesel exports in light of low soy oil prices

October 20, 2016 |

Soy oil prices have fallen as China chooses to import raw soybeans for crushing domestically while India chooses between soy oil and palm oil depending on price point. Soy oil prices have fallen more than 35% since April 2012 with no significant increase expected, leading producers to look for more value added outlets like for biodiesel.
