Zambia’s Copperbelt Energy Corp. launches study to find market for its biodiesel products

In Zambia, the Copperbelt Energy Corporation is embarking on a market survey to determine where it should supply its 1 million liters of annual jatropha and soy-based biodiesel production as well as byproducts. The company has already established the production facility. The company is looking to scale up its renewable energy activities and as such is trying to determine potential clients, logistics requirements and a distribution strategy. The study will also test the market’s capacity to absorb transportation costs for the fuel and its byproducts.
