Vietnam to mandate E5 after failure to encourage consumer preference

In Vietnam, after failing to encourage voluntary consumption of E5, the government will mandate its use at the pump instead of the current A92 unleaded fuel, but an exact timeline for implementation of the mandate has yet to be released. The ministry of trade says the mandate will be in place nationwide by mid-2017, however a bureaucrat told local press that the timeline isn’t feasible so will be implemented in its own time when it can be achieved.
