Elite Octane in negotiations for incentives to build 120 gallon ethanol plant in Iowa

In Iowa, Elite Octane is negotiating with Cass County on an incentives package to develop a new 120 million gallon ethanol plant with several proposals going back and forth predominantly dealing with tax rebates during the first 10 years of the plant’s life. The state’s economic development agency already has secured a $4.25 million sales tax refund for 2019. Project developers expect to have the project online by April 2018 but it will be contingent on county incentives and securing permits to make the deadline.
