European ethanol crushing margins at their highest since the summer

In the Netherlands, demand for T2 mixed with short supply has seen margins for both corn-based and wheat-based ethanol jump to the highest seen since the summer when many producers were offline for maintenance. Even the theoretical crush spread for low value UK feed wheat hit a three-month high. The market expects the higher prices, and therefore high margins, to continue at least through the end of the year if not through the first half of January.
