Birdlife and T&E to release anti-biofuel documentary in January

In Belgium, following on from the November release of their joint publication “The Black Book of Bioenergy”, Birdlife Europe and Central Asia has again teamed with Transport & Environment on a documentary set for release in January that is meant to be an exposé on how European biofuel policy led to landgrabbing, deforestation, inappropriate subsidies and more. Trailers for “The Burning Issue: When Bioenergy Goes Bad” have been released highlighting Russia, Germany and two cases in Italy.
