Iowa Energy Plan open for public comment

In Iowa, after a year of planning, hard work and collaboration with stakeholders from around the state, including working group members, state agencies, industry organizations, and members of the public, the Iowa Energy Plan is final and available for review. A total of 15 objectives and 45 strategies make up the Iowa Energy Plan including transportation, biomass with a major focus on boosting biogas production from agriculture as well as municipal wastewater treatment systems, and alternative fuel vehicles that will play on the state’s strengths in biofuel production.
