January 9, 2017 |

In Canada, the town of Botwood in Newfoundland may become host to a new C$185 million biofuel plant and sawmill that would produce fuel from the leftover fiber along with fertilizer and animal feed from char and graphene. Newgreen Technologies is currently negotiating with the province after spending the better part of a year negotiating with the local community. To secure the remaining financing, the company is seeking an MOU that would provide 285,000 cubic meters of forest fiber.
