Malaysia trying to prove B10 is good for engines rather than vice versa

In Malaysia, even though the implementation of the B10 blending mandate continues to be delayed until finally it has been shelved indefinitely, the Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities has said the fuel has been shown to clean engines and is a superior fuel following 4×4 tests and further validation from other domestic and international studies. The ministry is working to combat misconceptions among drivers and automobile manufacturers that the higher blend is bad for engines.
