US ethanol exports soar to 353.2 million gallons during Q1

In Washington, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Global Agricultural Trade System said September through November ethanol exports were the best seen in five years with much of the 353.2 million gallons sent to Brazil, Canada and China. Nearly a third of those exports went to Brazil, about 111.6 million gallons, as the market sought to fill the supply gap left by sugar mills focusing on sugar production to take advantage of high global sugar prices.
