Brazilian mills produce 67.81 million liters of sugarcane ethanol during H1 January

In Brazil, mills produced 67.81 million liters of ethanol during the first half of January, 48.84 million liters of which was hydrous ethanol. Most mills had already closed for the season by January 1 but 11 continued to produce sugar and ethanol during the first half of the month. Nearly 25 billion liters was produced between April 1 through January 1, of which 14.42 billion liters. In addition to sugarcane-based ethanol, 153.81 million liters of ethanol was produced during 2016/17 from corn of which 131.5 million liters was hydrous.
