Biofuels industry’s suit against EPA on RFS methodology to be heard April 24

In Washington, April 24 has been set as the date for oral arguments in the biofuels industry’s suit against the Environmental Protection Agency where associations claim the agency used an improper methodology in determining biofuel-blending levels under the Renewable Fuel Standard between 2014 and 2016. The Renewable Fuels Association is demanding the EPA use a standard methodology for determining blending levels and that it stick with it, hoping that the court will require the agency to do so.
