Calls for Nigeria to implement 2007 E10 policy at last

In Nigeria, the Acting Executive Director of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency has echoed the call of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resource who upon assumption of office sought for the fast tracking of implementation of the E10 biofuel policy that has lingered on the books since 2007 without going anywhere. The country is dependent on imports of refined fossil fuels even though it is an exporter of crude oil, so any use of domestically-produced biofuel will reduce foreign currency expenditure on fuel imports.
