US ethanol production dips to 15.84B gallon annual clip

In Washington, according to EIA data as analyzed by the Renewable Fuels Association, US ethanol production averaged 1.022 million barrels per day (b/d)β€”or 42.92 million gallons daily, on par with the prior week. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 1.033 million b/d for an annualized rate of 15.84 billion gallons. Stocks of ethanol stood at 22.9 million barrels. That is nearly a 1% decrease from last week. Imports of ethanol were nonexistent for the 28th straight week. Gasoline demand for the week averaged 389.3 million gallons (9.268 million barrels) daily. Refiner/blender input of ethanol averaged 877,000 b/d. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 11.03%.
