March 13, 2017 |

In Iowa, Ag Processing is finishing its $38 million biodiesel expansion project that will double capacity to 60 million gallons per year, the facility’s fourth expansion since it became the country’s first commercial biodiesel producer in 1996. In addition, the company is finalizing a $90 million oil refinery project that will allow it to not only crush soybeans but also refine the oil before it is turned into biodiesel. Twenty new jobs will be created thanks to the expansion and new refinery project.
