KAAPA Ethanol upgrading Ravenna plant to be more efficient

In Nebraska, KAAPA Ethanol has been making changes since it purchased Abengoa’s ethanol plant in Ravenna last summer with a focus on improving its corn purchasing processes to attract farmers to sell their corn directly to the plant rather than the plant buy the corn through third parties has had been done previously. Investments in infrastructure in order to facilitate that increased focus on client relations have been a key part of the plant’s reinvention, as well as investment in improved fermentation technology and additional corn storage facilities.
