Rivertop. Radical Polymers partner to distribute bio-based Waterline CI corrosion inhibitors

April 2, 2017 |

In Montana, Rivertop Renewables and Radical Polymers have partnered to provide Rivertop’s Waterline CI to the water treatment market segment populated by independent providers. The companies will collaborate closely to harness the complementary benefits of Waterline CI and INITIA mineral scale-control products.

Waterline CI is a phosphorous-free corrosion inhibitor that protects mild steel and galvanized surfaces in cooling water systems and provides unparalleled protection across a wide array of cooling water conditions and treatment formulations. This all-organic inhibitor is ideal for use in industrial and institutional cooling systems with moderate to high oxidizing biocide demand across a wide range of pH and water hardness conditions. Waterline CI is the first corrosion inhibitor that qualifies for the Environmental Protection Agency’s Safer Choice-labeled products.

“We have chosen to partner with Radical Polymers because they are a trusted supplier of specialty water treatment chemistries, a position that can accelerate customer access to Rivertop’s innovative corrosion inhibitor,” said Jason Kiely, Sales Director at Rivertop. “Furthermore, our collaboration will enable customers to adopt phosphorous-free treatment programs and to harness performance synergies between Waterline CI and INIITIA technologies.”

“Rivertop’s Waterline CI is of great interest to our customers, who increasingly need sustainable solutions, but who can’t sacrifice performance or value,” said Mike Standish, Partner at Radical Polymers. “Rivertop’s products are an excellent complement to our line of INITIA products and will enable us to meet our customers’ needs.”
