February Argentine ethanol sales and production rise was consumption slips

In Argentina, February ethanol sales rose to 84.87 million liters, up more than a quarter on the year but 6% lower than the month prior. Cordoba province absorbed 35% of the demand followed by Tucuman, whereas the other provinces registered must smaller volumes at 10% or below. Consumption in February was down 11% on the year and 2% from January at more than 72 million liters, with the blending rate averaging around 11.81%. Production passed 80 million liters, up more than 22% on the year but down slightly from January.
