ADM sees strong ethanol exports continuing to Brazil in Q2

In Illinois, despite the Brazilian government contemplating a 20% import tariff on ethanol, the CEO of Archer Daniels Midland expects US ethanol exports to remain strong during Q2 and Brazil to continue to be a key export destination during that period. With US ethanol demand seen at around 14.7 billion gallons this year, he expects exports to be as high as 1.3 billion gallons. He also mentioned that company restructuring was nearly complete but analysis into operational costs would continue.
