In Thailand, the second phase of Malaysia’s KNM Group’s ethanol plant, expanding the Impress facility to 500,000 liters per day from the current 200,000 liters per day from cassava, is expected to provide the company with long-term recurring income. The $36.7 million expansion project should take 18 months to complete.
