US Oil seeks to invest $3 million in ethanol pipeline to facilitate exports to Canada

May 18, 2017 |

In Wisconsin, US Oil plans to develop a $3 million, 1,000-foot pipeline project that would transport ethanol across the Great Lakes connecting its oil tank yard to its liquid cargo pier at the Port of Milwaukee. The project was approved by the public works committee of city’s common council and now goes to the council for a full vote. If implemented, it would facilitate the export of ethanol from Wisconsin producers to Canada and avoid potentially dangerous rail transportation.
