BoatUS slams RFA for misleading boat owners about ethanol

In Virginia, BoatUS has come out swinging at the Renewable Fuels Association over its ad campaign trying to convince the public that ethanol does not damage boat engines, saying the association is spreading mistruths, from the RFA’s claims about E10 being the fuel of choice for boaters, to saying the boating associations that approve E10 are sponsored by the RFA. It also disagrees with the RFA’s advice for boat users on how to avoid problems with phase separation in ethanol-blended fuel.
